Raconteur is a private high speed lavish accommodation railway service for tourists and tour groups and often offers themed land cruises and off train excursions through diverse landscapes. The railway tours the continents of Tairiku and Shinrin, using deep sea tunnels to cross the Akai Umi from the cities of Port, Lanikai, and Quezon. The trains are capable of impressive speed but usually travels at a slower pace so that passengers may fully enjoy the passing scenery. One of its most popular routes is The Loop. The journey begins at Hilo Station then travels south through the narrow canyons and hanging bridges of the Yami no yamayama through Eucalyptus Hills past the tallest peak in the range Mulhacen-san (1379 masl), and past the glittery and mesmerizing Rio Verde {green river} jam packed with natural pools and waterfalls straight out of a fairy tale scene. Next the train ventures into the enormous mountains of the primarily untamed landscape of the interconnected ranges of the Sharquin Kiso Yama. Then its several hours to Madina where it makes a brief stop so the neo-Moorish delight of the Aljanib Almushriq Mahata {sunny side railway station} railway station may be admired, and the passengers have several hours to peruse the market halls, gallerias, and open-air bazaars. Travel continues for some hours to the Gorge of Visions on the Vaala Silta {river bridge} (a one-kilometer-high arch railway bridge) then moves through the Aoraki Yama {cloud piercer mountains}. The rail journey proceeds past magnificent views of the Anheru Taki {angel falls}. Nejiro's most impressive and famous waterfall, where the water crashes over the nine-hundred-meter-wide rock face of sheer cliffs from the white-waters of the Chukan Kawa {middle river} that falls at more than five hundred meters at more than two hundred thousand meters per second into the Tentai Mizumi {celestial lake} (the second largest freshwater lake on the planet). The train continues travel over Long He {dragon river}, an outlet of the Tentai Mizumi, (with its sinuous curves and striking shade of blue reflected from the sky the river is a symbol of benevolence, power, wisdom, and good luck). The train travels on through the high mountains and ancient forests of the Cascadia Range and through the Hoshizora no shizen hogo kokuritsu koen {starry sky nature preserve national park} after dark without most of its lights through the dark sky preserve so the whole of the cosmos may be clearly observed. The train then travels through the Sunlight Mountains and passes through Angelfire Canyon and by the Soladalur {sun valley} ski chalets before making an overnight stop at the Sakura Onsen resort village at the Hippocrene {the horses' fountain} (a five-star Pegasus Resorts accommodation) to enjoy the hot springs and the permanent matsuri. {This part of the journey takes approximately seventeen hours travel time plus several hours of stops and is especially popular during the sakura blossom front and momijigari.} The train then continues west for some hours into the Kiso Mountains province and tunnels through the glaciers and the high jagged snow capped peaks of the Alpenwylde where passengers may marvel at the frozen waterfalls, ice fields, and tunnels of ice for several hours until the train emerges to make an overnight stop at the ski resort city of Whistler. Travel then continues for some hours west across the Ceallach Highlands past rugged mountains, deep lochs, boggy moors, and ancient woodlands. Passengers may admire the picturesque views of the curtain walled fort of Ceallach Castle {which is not open to the general public} as the train journeys on to the ancient town of Stonehaven {Nejiro's oldest settlement - est. 2222} for an overnight stop. The journey continues for some hours southeast through the Eastern Desert province across the rocky basalt desert past the salt lakes and extinct volcano cones of the Kuroi Sabaku {black desert} until an overnight stop at el-Leja {the refuge} for tours of the winery and the wool and textile market. Then the journey continues as the train skirts through the gravel plains and towering reddish orange sand dunes at the southern edge of the Akichi Erg {empty quarter shifting sand dunes} and past the Liwa Wildlife Oasis {banner} where you may spot oryx, striped hyena, or perhaps a caracal, a pustnnyy volk {desert wolf} or even a bearded vulture among the date palm and ironwood trees as travel continues past Liwa Lake on elevated rail lines. The train moves south for several hours into the greener softly rolling hills of the Valle della Luna for an overnight stop at a quaint rail station in Villajoyosa {joyful town}. A fishing and tourist village on Marabella Lake with rows of colorful houses to admire, and the Mulawan Sanbashi {colorful pier} has an outdoor bazaar and a kaleidoscopic fish market whose docks and charter boats offer anglers a chance to try their hand in the cool deep lake for black bass, zandia, pike, catfish, and carp; there are also several cozy and charming minshuku near the pebble beaches of the scenic lake.
