The ichizoku is for the most part nomadic. They are herders, hunters, fishers, and gatherers. The Mongolian, Scythian, Khitai, and Arabic descendants still hunt with eagles, and have the finest Arabian horses on the planet. They often make excursions into the mountains for mineral resources the ichizoku hold the rights to, also for hunting and grazing lands. The ichizoku contains many artisans and craftspersons from weavers to metal workers, most of these wares are sold through shops and galleries in Madina or through the businesses of the Badawi Group. There are also many digital workers - everything from copywriters to day traders to teachers to voice actors to video game designers - who can work from anywhere they have satellite or cellular reception, which is plentiful due to the numerous antennae as additions to wind towers and solar arrays throughout the region.
