Students are encouraged to develop their own style and push it to the maximum limits. Of particular interest at the school are competitions called Shokugeki (food wars), a formal intense cooking duel where students stake their pride and future as chefs to settle debates and other challenges, where victory means that all set conditions are immediately carried out and results are absolute.
