The lake is known for the clarity of its waters and the panorama of the surrounding landscape. The one hundred square kilometer nature reserve south of the landhold has amenities including the lake, which has three hundred and thirty-seven kilometers of beaches and shoreline, good fishing, botanical gardens, parklands, festivals, campgrounds, ryokan, onsen, hiking trails, boating, a marina, birding, bike trails, horse trails, swimming pools, a water park, a professional golf course and clubhouse, picnic areas, pavilions, meeting rooms, event venues (including Kea Shirt (rock castle), a European gothic fantasy with halls, salons, gardens, and lawns that run to the lake shore from the forest hilltop of the castle, available for weddings and other events), rock climbing, a summer camp, year-round youth programs, organized athletic and sports programs and events, gated communities around the borders of the park, and a rail station. **Sawara:** a historic village education center and working transport hub for rice and other agriculture shipments into Yousai. The historic center lies along a stroll-worthy canal, lined by faithfully reproduced Edo period traditional residences, merchant shops, warehouses, tea houses, restaurants, distilleries and breweries, sento (public bath houses), temples, shrines, and ryokan. Public and private tours of the town are available through the Edo Jidai Museum (Edo period), located on the outskirts of Sawara along with the rail station. Sightseeing cruises of the town and canal are offered by several flat bottom boat tour companies. The town is also well known for the Sawara Matsuri, a night festival lit by lanterns, where elaborate floats ridden by giant dolls crafted in the likenesses of mythological warriors and folk tales parade along the streets and canal accompanied by musicians and dancers performing over forty melodic festival chants and dances at the approach of autumn, usually in October. A few of the floats may be seen year-round at the Edo Jidai Museum. **Vorquism Rao:** a meditative branch of a lost martial art, to help one gain a sense of one's self and the world around them. It consists of eleven different katas of more than sixty-four slow and methodical forms. The schools (located on the landhold, Yousai, Bridges, Hilo, Rainbow, Port, Majuro, Samar, Quezon, Leyte and several schools and universities) also teach yoga, tai chi, meditative dance, qiqong, and zen walking. **Rokkan Security:** while tasked with the security of the ichizoku and all of its resources, the company also accepts contracts for security patrols, armed security and patrols, monitoring, peace officers, escorts, and guard services for communities, industrial parks, convoys, schools, corporations, public buildings, and event venues. **Rokkan Detective Agency:** private firm that does investigations, intelligence gathering and analysis, background checks, physical security and monitoring, and bodyguard services for private, corporate, and government clients. **Vipertek:** designs and manufactures non-lethal weapons, tasers, stun weapons, mace, pepper gel, air pistols with steel BB's, sonic weapons, tactical pens, personal safety alarms, high lumen flashlights, tranq weapons. Known for the Yusha (hero), a heavy duty dual shot barrel that is compact, easy to conceal, carry, and store with a class two laser sight and high lumen stun light.
