Chrysanthemum: You got delayed by little things. Marceau in French: Those missiles, order all of them. Don't bother with others. Chrysanthemum: Grand Uncle says to order those missiles. Indigo: By my estimate they are roughly 5 to 10 times better than regular ones. Jasmine: If anyone looks at the footage, there's no way we will be able to afford them. So let's move on. Chrysanthemum: I did 3 jumps at the right times. Indigo: Hit the jumps, missed anything and everything you tried to fire at. Marceau: But she positioned well to fire twice, and was just unlucky. Not sure anyone else would have done what you did differently. You stayed out of range of the LRM death machines, and got a mech to chase you. If you hit even a little at the end, if would have been brutal. Jasmine: I think we have something bad still to go Chrysanthemum: HA! Indigo was suppose to drop people on top of buildings, not hills. Indigo: There was no way Jasmine: I saw an awful lot of friendly infantry inside those buildings. Indigo: From vehicles on the ground, that couldn't be shot at Chrysanthemum: Oh did you get shot at a lot? I didn't realize Marceau: No, The little plinkers hit me instead of chasing him. Indigo: But I was. Arg, there's no talking my way out of this is there Jasmine: No way, not after how you have been messing with Chrys for the past month. She just turned 16, and look at how hard you laughed at the poor girl. Indigo: Drunken bragging, awesome. Jasmine advanced on targets, didn't make it to the city itself, but tried to stop all the heavies from getting disabled. Chrysanthemum is now not utterly afraid of jump jets. Also positioned well because I love that mech and how it works, but can't hit anything. Marceau got bricked, but still missed a ton. Indigo dropped some troops but nothing on a building. They would have given him allowances if he got one in there but no, just had to play it safe. (IMO the correct move, but it was supposed to be something new) Now, since Indigo lost, he'll be planning a lunch & drinks with each of the units that was in the OpFor. What we are looking to do: - Laugh and have fun - Talk about what they would have done differently in our shoes, given the same equipment. - Specifically if they think they might have been able to drop a BA unit on top of any building in the town from the Karnov. He will ask the person in charge if they'd prefer one large lunch for all of them or lunches per team. I'm going to source the catering from Crash's place, if possible, otherwise from somewhere tasty, but making sure there are grunt treats (Burgers/Fries/Pizza/whatever people eat at a family style bbq or whatever).
