# Making Contact for Tote Ok I worked up a plan for next steps. Training & Outreach are related in where I would contact, so I did those together. ## Training & Outreach ### Find Out Who To Contact To start with the training and outreach, I am going to pick a batch of 6 universities to inquire at first. - Hilo - Yabai Technology Institute - Rosa Polytechnic Institute - Kosen Technological University - Nejiro Polytechnic - Cote d'Azur - Sophia University - Kiryu Daigaku Cote d'Azur is the secondary location because I have some French (On Daisy's Husband's side of the family) and historically on Earth it's a linguistically diverse place. Most are in Hilo because that's right there and makes the most sense. The far away can serve as "incentive" so will likely be places to train, not to recruit interns. I'm looking for admissions and corporate connections at these places for training. Then the career services department to talk about Interns. ### Contact them For training, I will reach out to the department to talk about corporate education for a workforce in focused areas. An initial inquiry can look like the following: "I'm writing on behalf of Valkyries of Hanakotoba's experienced vehicle technicians seeking continuing education in advanced maintenance and diagnostics. Our staff already hold basic certifications and practical experience; we're primarily interested in short, competency-based courses, micro-credentials, or certificate programs that focus on advanced diagnostics, specialized components, and hands-on lab work. Please advise which programs or custom training services you offer, typical duration, delivery modes (in-person, hybrid, on-site), and whether you can tailor content to employer needs." For outreach a message similar to the following: --- Dear [Internship Coordinator / Career Services Manager], My name is Jasmine Or'lient, Commander of Valkyries of Hanakotoba. We are developing a paid internship program designed to provide students with supervised, practical experience in advanced vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. The program is intended for students who have completed foundational coursework and are seeking applied, competency-based experience. We are interested in posting this opportunity on your job board and discussing whether this placement could be credit-bearing or coordinated with an internship program. Additionally, we are open to discussing employer-sponsored cohorts, on-site information sessions, and interview scheduling through your office. Could you please advise on the appropriate next steps and the best contact for internship postings and partnership discussions? I am available for a brief call to discuss further. --- We'd have to research payment amount aside from this. We can tailor the length of the internship to be a semester at that university, with it ending just before finals and being able to start before classes do (all depending, details that we may not need). ## Tooling & Facility Upgrades ### Find out who to contact This is way harder to find a list of as I don't have a lot to go on at first. - Montana Peak looks to have the types of companies I'd be looking for. Pretty sure this is a place name and not a company name though. - Hast Shipyards looks to be good for VTOL things. - Sugureta Zairyo for raw materials - Saisentan might be useful for some things. - Metals and Engineering - 'Metec' - Suzume Shipyards and Industrial Complex {sparrow} is a maybe, it's close but it's seems like it would be in the business of using them. But the description I have hints that they make their own stuff too. - Ryobi {paradise day} - Meka Mekanika There are also various companies that manufacture a certain thing, but a lot of them also offer repair services, so we wouldn't ask them first. We'd focus on places that seem like they'd be all for supplying this type of equipment. ### Contact them There isn't really a one size fits all, so this is an example of the type of thing I would send to each. For ones that seem like they'd be for tooling/facility expansion/upgrades it would be like --- Hello, my name is Jasmine Or'lient with Valkyries of Hanakotoba. We're planning a focused investment in tooling and bay facilities for our VTOL, Mech, and Combat Vehicle capacity and would like to explore supplier or partner options with your organization. Specifically, we're interested in workshop tooling, diagnostic suites, and bay layout consulting that can scale from basic upkeep to advanced component overhauls. Could you share what turnkey solutions or modular equipment packages you offer, typical lead times, support and training options, and whether you provide on-site installation and crew training? If you have an initial capabilities brochure or a point of contact for corporate partnerships, please forward it and let me know a few available times for a short call. We're prepared to discuss budget ranges and potential pilot projects; preliminary funding is allocated and we value providers who can support staged rollouts and ongoing technical support. --- For others that are mainly supplies --- Hello, my name is Jasmine Or'lient with Valkyries of Hanakotoba. We're planning a focused investment in tooling and bay facilities for our VTOL, Mech, and Combat Vehicle capacity and would like to explore supplier or partner options with your organization. Specifically we are interested in having the supplies needed to repair, refit, and maintain a variety of vehicles from Battle Armor up to BattleMechs. --- These overall are the more risky and potentially pricy contacts. But the idea is to poke around and see what falls out. And I don't know the numbers until we see some numbers. My budget is rather small at this time, but once I have some initial contacts made, we can start messing with stuff.
