# Chrysanthemum Joins a Unit **Scene** At Restuarant that's a bit trendier with the younger crowd **Who** [[Jasmine Or’lient]], [[Daisy Or’lient]], and [[Chrysanthemum Or’lient]] **Language** Japanese Daisy: Rose is going to try on that catering. She will be doing a try-out with their staff. He has passable Japanese, so hopefully the language barrier isn't an issue. Jasmine: Oh, that's good. I'm glad so see people finding places and starting to feel comfortable. Daisy: She enjoyed the sushi lessons and will likely want to finish those. She has been wanting to branch out a bit, so is actually really excited to learn the new dishes and has thrown herself into it. Jasmine: Next family dinner should be excellent. Daisy: If, she's not working. Jasmine: If, she's not working. Her son has passed on the Raijin though, he wants to stick to the faster mechs, and while the Raijin is speedy, the Hermes is twice as fast, and he's hooked. He's agreed to use the Nexus if needed though. It's around the same weight & role, so he's ok. Not with how long it will take to fix, but still. Chrys is about to speak up. Daisy: Oh, that's unfortunate. I know this is a mech you happen to like the looks of too. Chrys turns to Daisy and is about to speak. Jasmine: Yeah, I'd pilot it myself if the Marauder was damaged. But honestly it might be better to find someone else. Chrys just sighs, she knows the game now. Daisy: Well, I've been hearing about how the Signals department needs to be more hands on, and on site. Jasmine: I thought you wanted to be doing less. Sounds like that's doing more? Daisy and Jasmine both look at Chrys Chrysanthemum: I think it would be good if our department was involved more directly in operations. Iris is already, but Daisy and myself especially, feel disconnected from what happens. I figured if our side of the department got more involved it would raise our standing also with other units. Jasmine: You've thought this out some, go on. Chrysanthemum: Indigo, who is mostly civilian, spends his spare time visiting other units and meeting and greeting with other people. Kem, I'm pretty sure has talked to everyone at least once and she's spent half her time here in MAWS. Orchid is making a name for herself when she isn't giving Tryna heartburn. And so when they talk with others, they are known and respected. Also, they aren't afraid of speaking their mind. Daisy puts a hand on her arm Chrys continues: I understand I'm almost 17 and still a bit young, but if I don't get started now, when will I? Jasmine: Let's see... Jasmine pulls up some information on her tablet Jasmine: Apparently it was some years ago. During our trip, you've been getting around. It's hard to account for your hours in practice, on account of the fact that you're harder to track than Dahlia. But what do you have in mind. Chrys: The angry chicken. Daisy starts laughing. Jasmine: You just called Chrys: Yes, I did. Have you actually looked at it? Jasmine facepalms Daisy, still laughing: Can we actually deny her? --- I'm looking to slap Chrysanthemum into the Raijin. I don't expect her to actually be good at it, but maybe cadet level? Just about anyone I put in it would be starting from 4/5 so with the (temporary) penalties would likely be about the same or worse. I don't have her stated up and don't know if it will be ok, so this is me asking. If it's ok, she'd be the 4th deployment in the Raijin.
