GSF response forces entered the area and the raiders dispersed; a separate raider force also moved off after encountering the initial group. The bandits moved off when the GSF response force entered the area. A different raider force also entered the area and moved off when they saw the other raider force. The GSF force moved support units to help the aircraft that went down nearby; the aid force reported no fatalities.
