When they arrived they picked up the raiders' trail and moved to intercept them. The raiders turned out to be the command unit from WoB; they could not be stopped and some of the force moved toward Vulcan while others moved to the coast. Due to the timing and location of the raid several forces (The Eagle's Tears, Loyalty Forsaken, Dragon's Clutch and Road's Warriors) were held at their bases in case of follow-up attacks. ComStar forces were unavailable due to other duties. The Ghosts repositioned units to Majuro to provide extra security in case other forces made moves in that direction.
