## Summary Rapid response to protect 'Jack' after enemy contact; recon and close-quarters skirmish in wooded training areas. December of 3067 ## Quests / Report Someone found out that Jack was in the field and is giving him a hard time. So it is time for our Mercs to save the boss. Our Merc forces re-deployed to the area where someone was running live fire drills. They moved in after my team went in to look around and found someone also searching the area. My team took to cover after our transport was shot at. The Mercs deployed along river and road about a klick from the buildings that were used for the drill. While we were dropping into cover we came across a person in the woods we were taking cover in. We took him into custody and stayed in cover until making contact with a scout unit from Kiah’s Hammers. Our Mercs exchanged weapons fire with the unit operating in the area but no heavy damage was done to them. The unknown force withdrew from the area. The Phoenix Brigade is still working on things for ComStar and will be unable to send in units for this mission. The Dragons Clutch had to keep all units close to home.
