## Summary Armed personnel were spotted near a desert outpost; recon found field kit and signs of a camp and recovered evidence for investigation. November of 3067 ## Quests / Report Stark Heavy Industries' armour plant reported armed personnel in the area and requested assistance. Mechanized infantry detachments were sent to secure the area. During transit a lance of FAV Sand Scorcher vehicles entered the security zone and engaged prior to being chased off by intercepting forces. Our infantry closed with the fleeing FAVs but discovered an entrenched enemy force in the wooded hills. The hostile element used field guns to ambush our approach. Despite heavy losses among vehicles and some battle armour, our forces destroyed or captured most of the hostile force; only two FAVs escaped. Casualties and damage included one battle armour unit destroyed, another reduced to one-third strength, two foot infantry squads sustaining injuries from vehicle losses, and two PCs sustaining heavy damage (one losing its turret and being destroyed).
