## Summary - Objective: Recon a forested logging/nature preserve area. - Brief: Defenders entered the area to identify multiple MAG signatures. After a minor engagement they discovered four enemy 'Mechs and were chased off the far edge of the woods by heavier forces. The dense forest and local Varan wildlife complicated operations. The heavy woods gave both the raider party and the local wild life cover. The main wildlife in the area are called Varan and are a very large lizard that local tree farmers work with to collect the local trees. The Varan can be very aggressive and will do heavy damage to anything they attack. The Defenders were told not to harm the wildlife. The Varan can get as big as 10 meters and weight as much as 5 metric tons. They can cover 10 klicks an hour.
